Renee Davis, PHD

Dr. Renee Davis is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in the state of Maryland and the District of Columbia.  She has the pleasure of serving school-aged children, adolescents, and their families.  Dr. Davis graduated with her Doctor of Philosophy in Clinical Psychology from Howard University.  As part of her training, Dr. Davis completed a doctoral internship and postdoctoral fellowship at the Kennedy Krieger Institute/Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.

Dr. Davis is passionate about working with clients presenting with various behavioral and mental health needs including anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, disruptive behavior, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, academic distress, and challenges with self-esteem.  As a Christian who has been called to the mental health field, Dr. Davis also has interests in working with those navigating the Christian faith. She specializes in employing cognitive-behavioral therapy, exposure therapy, and treatment aligned with dialectical behavior therapy.  Dr. Davis has had the privilege of working in schools, nationally recognized children’s hospitals, private practices, and a Christian counseling center.

Raised on the east coast, Dr. Davis is proud to call Maryland her home.  She enjoys exploring new cuisines, staying active in the gym, and building community through her church.
